Rock solid and comfortable - Hogue AK-47/AK-74 Standard Chinese and Russian Handguard w/ OverMolded Lower

Throw the junk wood grips away. This grip is much wider on the bottom, and feels great. The top is composite but who cares. You don't grip the top of the rifle and the barrel goes through the bottom piece. Regarding the upper or lower being loose: All AK's are slight different. The fix is simple. My lower was a bit loose, solved with a small piece of duct tape wrapped/attached to the front were it mounts to the rifle. Problem solved. Nothing moves. Upper and lower are rock solid. Get this grip. You will not be disapointed.
Pros: Wide rubber grip with a great feel
Cons: Slight amount of tweaking to get it rock solid tight
