Most Helpful Positive Review Better than expected
I have a Romanian WASR 10/63 double stack that this was put on. It is a pretty straight forward installation and was done in no time. I don't recall having to tweak anything to get it into place. MAN IS THIS GRIP COMFORTABLE! The rubber feel like it melts into your hand so you can shoot all day in comfort. It also has a much wider bottom than the original wood furniture, adding to the comfort level. You can choose to leave off the bottom rails (which I did). ok but it had play

Its not bad. The look and feel is pretty good
but mine had play in it,The top feels cheap so I took it off and put on
a M.I handguard. I would save a little more money
and upgrade to a Midwest IND and don't look back

I would look at other options. I returned this and was not happy with this product. Hogue makes great grips,but this product missed the mark !! look elsewhere
Pros: grip feels good
Cons: lower fits loose,upper fits too loose for optics

Pros: all great i shoot 400 rounds throu my ak n it barely got warm unlike the old wood handgrip after 150 rounds u couldnt touch it bare handed

Rock solid and comfortable

Throw the junk wood grips away. This grip is much wider on the bottom, and feels great. The top is composite but who cares. You don't grip the top of the rifle and the barrel goes through the bottom piece. Regarding the upper or lower being loose: All AK's are slight different. The fix is simple. My lower was a bit loose, solved with a small piece of duct tape wrapped/attached to the front were it mounts to the rifle. Problem solved. Nothing moves. Upper and lower are rock solid. Get this grip. You will not be disapointed.
Pros: Wide rubber grip with a great feel
Cons: Slight amount of tweaking to get it rock solid tight

Mak 90

Fit my Mak90 with no problems.This took about 10 minutes to install. I would not mount any optics on the top but that's not why I ordered it. Overall appearance is great and feels comfortable. I would like to see a rubber upper like the lower but well worth the price I paid.
Pros: Very easy to install. Two options for the upper. Looks great.
Cons: Top is plastic and could fit a little tighter.

Not that sturdy

This simply does not lock up as well as it should. I will probably keep it on, until I find a better solution. It looks and feels great. I like it that you can put rails on as you desire, but it is just not as sturdy as it should be. It needs more plastic connecting to the receiver to help it lock up better. The top cover is not near tight enough to put an optic on it. Just not my favorite! Sorry Hogue try again!
