Good Fit & Finish

This fit well and will serve the purpose of being able to add a red dot on my PSA G3 AK. It is comfortable on my hands and was tight without any wobble and did not require any adjustments to be installed.

  • May need a cheek riser on your stock for a red dot

Affordable and still looks nice

A little hard to take off old furniture, but easy to put on this new grip and handguard. Grip feels very good in the hand and it comes with extra rails and a handguard with rails if you have accessories. Was much more affordable than other options I found.

Great upgrade Draco 9mm

Was a great upgrade of the stock wood grips. Fit was okay, had to force it in but good for the prices not wobbly at all. Good upgrade, looks great too, I didn’t want tacticool, just some black parts.

Not good with foregrip

I swapped out for a Magpul MOE. The forend is not as secure as the Magpul MOE. Wouldn't be an issue except that I'm using a foregrip and the flex is really noticeable. Magpul MOE was rock solid.

Had to Dremel the retaining plate for grip a bit to fit my Palmetto Arms but it was quick and easy and fits securely.

Hogue railed AK foregrip

This grip is nice. The lower grip is rubberized, the upper is not but they match well together. I installed this on a PSAK47 kit that I put together and it looks and fits good. I wanted this so I could mount a red dot to the upper hand guard.
Pros:
  • Grip looks awesome on the rifle
  • Heat shield comes with the lower hand guard.
Cons:
  • Could use slightly better instructions, but you can search YouTube if you need help.
Best Used for:
  • Standard AK variants, they make another version for the longer Yugo type.

Great upgrade

This handguard is much more comfortable compared to the stock wood. My only concern is the lack of a heat shield on the upper half. The pistol grip is also very comfortable with no complaints or concerns. Excellent products.

The top rail/handguard broke during install. Tighten bolts on lower and they pull through plastic. Rails are plastic, maybe ok for a cheap sight, but I wouldn't mount my $600 eotec to it.

Best one I have found.

This is the perfect all-around AK furniture. You can choose how many rails or none at all. The rubber overmold grip surface is the best I have used.
Pros: Excellent feel and easy to fit to rifle.
Cons: None.

If you're over the chincy plywood on the Romanian models and splitting stocks on the Norincos, this is what you need. Can't beat the fit and feel of Hogue quality.
