Hogue free float hand guard kit
I replaces a quadrail with the hogue free float hand guard kit. It has a very comfortable grip, is much lighter than the quadrail I had on it, and improved the accuracy by about an inch from the factory delta ring. This is a rifle length handguard, if you have carbine length gas tube and block, it won't fit unless you have a low profile gas block. Does not have attachment points for flashlights, lasers, etc

I really like hogue products on my AR
I really like the feel of the overmolded forend. It is more comfortable, and warmer in cold weather, than a standard aluminum tubes and the overmolding helps to absorb a bit of the noise from the shot. I did buy a strap wrench from Home Depot, about 9 bucks, to make installation a bit easier than the plastic tool they give you. There are a couple of youtube videos that show how to install and they are worth the time to watch. Overall I like it better than the aluminum tube that was on the AR, only for stars because of the need for a strap wrench.
