Most Helpful Positive Review Decent handguard
Here is some very useful info. So this is a nice handguard but there are some issues. You cannot use an AR wrench and torque wrench to install the barrel nut. Instead it comes with a terrible little plastic tool which takes an engineering degree to figure out how to use. poor quality control

by Mike, Verified Owner from IL, United States Written on September 18, 2021
The rubber grip area was not installed evenly. I had to heat it with hair dryer, and straighten it out. There was only half of the installation tool included. I had to purchase a strap wrench so that I could install the barrel nut. Very poor quality from the factory!!

good grip, nice value

by nick, from KS, United States Written on January 2, 2021
Installation definitely requires a strap wrench, as noted by other reviewers. Other than that, installation was easy. I also bought the hogue gas tube so that I didn't have to try bending my old one. Ergonomically, it functions well, especially good if you don't plan on attaching a bunch of useless weight to the front of your rifle.
Pros:
  • it is what it is. nothing more nothing less.
Cons:
  • installation wrench is useless. buy a strap wrench.
