I would rate this a 5 if it came with a wrench that works. The two-piece plastic thingy was pretty useless. I ended up using a pair of channel-lock pliers and a towel to tighten and align. Speaking of alignment, the hand guard did not come with any shims. I found that a shim was needed in order to align the barrel nut. Fortunately, I had some shims laying around. Other than that, the installation was a breeze and the hand guard is excellent! I love it, and I'd recommend it to anyone who is not looking to hang a lot of accessories off their rail.
