Perficet fit on m&p 15-22 - Hogue AR-15/M16 Collapsible Buttstock Kit With Finger Groove Beavertail Grip Purple

I ordered the purple buttstock kit for my wife's Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 and am very satisfied. I went with the mil-spec size stock for this rifle and it is a perfect fit. Adjustment lock up is good. There is some resistance when moving the stock but not enough to cause any problems with adjusting it. I actually prefer some resistance to a looser fit. The pistol grip fit perfect as well. It is light-weight and didn't add any noticeable weight, but with the rubber cheek well and recoil pad it is more comfortable against the shoulder than the factory stock. I can't rate it for recoil since this is on a 22 rifle. The grip is very comfortable and the over-molded rubber offers much more traction for a better grip over the plastic A2 style factory grip.
