Conned out of $50 - Hogue AR-15/M16 OverMold Collapsible Buttstock for Mil-Spec Buffer Tubes

Never have I come across such a poorly made product. After reading the positive reviews, I thought I would give Hogue a chance, but after waiting a month for it to arrive, I have to say this is the worst buttstock I have ever seen. It feels like 0 attention to detail was paid when making this butt stock. I should have listened to some of the negative reviews stating that the fit was tight.

The interior dimension (ID) was off by about .30", when compared to a mill spec buffer tube. Sadly, I only found out after trying to fit the butt stock to my AR buffer tube and found that it had gotten permanently stuck on the buffer tube. After an hour of subsequent pounding and using a wrench and some wood blocks for leverage, I was able to free the butt stock off my buffer tube. I tried to ream out the buffer tube to make it work, but the side wall blew out after some light sanding.

If I could give this product -10 stars for craftsmanship and engineering I would. Please do not make the mistake I made and steer clear of this horrible product. This is my first and last purchase from Hogue.
