Great stock

The stock is light weight, comfortable, and has no rattle. The fit and finish with the rubberized tube prevents the typical stock rattle you get with other all polymer stocks. It also has 3 QD plugins for your QD slings. The way the plug ins are placed keeps the sling connectors where you want them. The butt pad is smooth rubber and absorbs recoil well, because it is rubber it also provides a good tactile grip keeping it from moving around on the shoulder while firing. The butt pad being smooth and rounded makes “yawing” the rifle left and right smooth and easy. It’s noticeably lighter than the BCM SOPMOD stock that was previously installed, the cheek well is thinner and easier to get to when wearing a helmet with cans. Lastly it looks great on the rifle. Overall it’s a great stock and I highly recommend it.

Over molded goodness

Awesome. Comfortable cheek weld, soft,changeable recoil pad is a plus. The anti wobble works and it slides effortlessly to all positions. 3 qd points all in great locations.

Ar buttstock.

Hogue sells some of the better Ar platform buttstocks. Looks good and has qd mounts. Good quality without the high cost of other stocks. I do recommend them.

Good Butt stock

Took a while to decide on the Hogue but glad I did. Very easy to install, fit good and tight with no rattle and comfortable. The over mold is very well done so you get a good cheek weld. Changing the stock position is easy but moves with no binding. Optics Planet's shipping is awesome and I will continue to use them for my outdoor products.

Hogue AR-15/M16 OverMold Collapsible Buttstock

Very nice buttstock which was easy to install (push the lever down with a screwdriver and push it onto the end of the buffer tube), adjust, and has very little wiggle as with other brands. I took a chance on this based on its look and Hogue's reputation, and it worked out for me.
