Good quality for the price. Had hoped for a bit more character to the wood, but priced right. The checkering is sharp. The left side panel was not cut to match the steel grip recesses (not flush) and as a result it is being held in position by the screws with the panel under some compression which could split the panel if over tightened. Houge does indicate that not all Hi Powers are identical and some level of mis alignment may occur. I could have sent back but seems okay.
