First things first — I’ve been trying to get me a HOGUE for a good minute ... they are pricey though. Originally in the market for an OTF, and the only time I came across a Compact at one jalopy of a price, the jabrones wouldn’t just take my money and ship it. Nope. Some how the Mountains got Smokey as heck, and it’s as if all the Knives ceased to Work — at least when were on the show side of the California State border. To this day, that was the only time a company had denied me the sale of slicer, auto or not. So if you couldn’t see how this game progressed, in short, I watched slowly over a torturous couple weeks as those Hogues sold out, and my dream of adding a HK OTF to my elite stables dismantled harder than the nWo Hollywood and the Wolfpac in the final days of Turner’s Raslin’ group. That’s when the OPS, which had become more Like my roll dawg and pahtnah, walked into my man edge deprived life. While I couldn’t find a proper OTF, this bad boy was the same thing, except Fixed, obviously over auto, and a more ergo handle, matching G’Mascus which I really adore. If you owned this big boy, and trashed it in a review, I wouldn’t be able to take any of your reviews or opinions in general with any real legitimacy. Thing is a heavy duty, old Chevy like hitter. Great all around knife. Used this knife for hunting last year, it did the job and then some. Very sharp and stayed sharp. Very tough knife
