Just received the stock and grip combo by Hogue from Optics Planet. Spot on easy replacement for factory finger hole stock on my RIA vr80 . Installed in a few minutes. Very excited, changed the feel 100 percent. Thanks for the fast shipment. .. reasonably priced also.

I guess it’s OK

It wiggles a bit in the MIL spec BT, but it wiggles a lot in the Strike ARE buffer tube. The lack of gipped texture in the butt plate causes some slide when you fire. The pistol grip is great, no complaints there. The stock is nice enough, but can definitely be improved.

Great product

Have several of these but this one fits very tight on the Buffer Tube, much tighter than all before. Very difficult to collapse the stock. May have to sand it down inside or something. But I love the no rattleness of these. Cannot go wrong with Hogue!

Looks great!

Very easy to install, and it looks great. The pistol grip has a rubberized feel to it, which makes it slightly harder to keep clean, but provides a firm and comfortable grip. Also, the stock fits very snug around the buffer tube, so it was hard to extend and retract the stock when I first put it on. However, this issue worked itself out after some use, and is now easier to adjust. Overall, I’m happy with it.

Excellent Fit, Finish and Hogue Quality

Replaced the mil-spec grip and stock on my AR-22 with an FDE set from Hogue. A definite improvement over the stock parts and they look better too.
