Was looking for a replacement stock for a Sako L61R and could not find one, except high end custom made. My net research showed the Howa/W-By action to be almost identical so I tried this option. Optics had the best price, took 2 weeks to get it, but I am fine with that. CS even called me and left a message about this.
The Hogue stock looks real nice and I now need to put my amateur gunsmithing to work and make it fit perfectly (It is real close, bolt eject button tab slot is slightly different.) Might even paint it up tiger stripe camo... The mannlicher stock I'm taking off the Sako is being put in a safe place.
