Best addition To Your 500
This is a very comfortable grip and makes shooting all day much more enjoyable. I liked the fore grip so much I ordered the buttstock.
Cons: Make sure you measure your tube on your 500. There are two different sizes.
Second time buying
I put this along with a short hogue stock on my sons 12 ga and they are great so when the next boy was old enough for a 12 ga I put the same setup on his. Light weight and the best grip I've ever felt on a shotgun. I'm thinking about getting a set for my own. Very nice grip.

Will not work on Shockwave
Great craftsmanship and comfort vs plain grips but this will NOT fit a Mossberg 590 Shockwave 14" due to the shortened forend. It might work on the more common 18" but just beware.

Worked Mossberg 500A
I did my Research and with the Hogue Forend Adapter Nut for Mossberg 835 & 6pt75in Forend tubes #05020 I was able to install the Forend with no Modifications. Over All very Happy with How It Turned Out

Not for the Mossberg 500
I had to heavily modify this item to even remotely fit my Mossberg 500.
It seemed to be made very well, but not for the Mossberg 500.

breathe a new life to an old friend.
My mossberg 500 has been around for quite sometime and it was starting to show. The one thing I never was crazy about was the stock forend. I never like all the ridges and so when I came across this Hogue overmolded forend I gave it a shot. The price was low and the quality is great. Install took all but 2 minutes. Went on like a charm and the unit feels amazing. It even has a “softer” grippy feel.

1 Small Problem With An Easy Solution
The grip is excellent and light years beyond any polymer oem or magpul aftermarket version. If you dont require attachments on your forend this is the only one to buy. *Problem* the rubberized grip extends to the area that comes in contact with the castle nut. This causes the forend to twist and possibly prevent a fully locked down forend. You could possibly alleviate this using lubricant at the contact area but i think hogue should provide the appropriately sized washer with the product.

Great Product
Excellent quality, fits great and the over molded texture feels great. This item fit my 12 gauge Mossberg 500 with longer slide action (7-7/8” or so). If you do not have the tool like me I just used a rubber strap wrench to remove and reinstall forearm nut. Don’t hesitate to buy this quality product.
