Most Helpful Positive Review Hogue 12" LOP stock
I bought this stock on the recommendation of another buyer. The stock and the customer service from Optics Planet.com were outstanding. My shotgun is far easier to bring into acton with the new stock, and being a Hogue-made stock, is all about functionality and durability. I would recommend this product and OpticsPlanet.com without hesitation. Pros: quality of materials; price; fit Cons: Installation requires specific tool

Great fit. No hardware

Great stock. Only gripe for me is that this went on a shockwave (yes I bought a stamp) and the shockwave bolt was too short. If you're replacing a regular stock this would probably not be a problem.

nice quality with 1 drawback

This stock is very nice quality. Hogue is a well known company so it’s everything I was expecting at that price point for my Maverick 88. Installation was very easy it’s really ergonomic. The only draw back I have and why I gave it 4/5 stars is that the length of the stock is a bit short. When shouldering and aiming with the firearm my arms are very bent compared to a full size rifle where there more extended. Overall, it’s really nice for the price and I’m happy with it especially installing it after having a top folding stock on it for a few years that was a nightmare to shoot in terms of comfort.

Perfect fit

Like night and day difference in body fit. I am 5'8" tall. The M500 fits me much better now.

Shipping was free via Pandion, of which is a very slow shipping service.

too short....

this is a youth stock, sort of. trigger reach from grip is still long and same as factory so you need big hands. good stock though. better grip and R pad than mossberg. id go w 13.5 hogue bc its cheaper and it looks original and feels better. mossberg should use it instead of their 14.25 but only 3/4in shorter so if u want perfect adjustment buy a magpul, the ultimate w 5 diff lops and more vertical grip.

  • short stock for smaller shooters but still not ideal for small hands.

Hogue 12 in lop stock

I ordered the Hogue 12 in lop oversold lop stock. It's was just what I needed for a small frame woman. Easy to install perfect fit and love tge texture of the stock. Price was very reasonable. Received in promptly from Optics planet. Will definitely buy from them again. Love my Hogue stock.
