great green grip!
I like Hogue, and the product is no exception to their usual quality!

I like the look and feel of the Hogue overmolding kit for the Mossberg 500 it was easy to install I recommend if your furniture is a little old or beat up

Perfect fit and OD Green match
I painted my Mossberg 500 with Brownell's Alumahyde in OD Green. The stock and forend from Hogue matches so perfectly that it looks like I painted the entire scattergun with the same paint, even though I did not paint the Hogue stock or forend. The only thing not absolutely perfect is there was a little bit of a gap between the top of the stock and rear of receiver which I was able to remove mostly by loosening the bolt, realigning the stock and retightening. It's acceptable but would be nice if it fit a little tighter. All in all a good buy for the money.

Excellent Set
This set is exactly what I needed to replace the factory set. I chose the OD green and it matched the Cerakote finish perfect. The stock and fore grip feel great and were easy to install. No modification were necessary and the forearm did not interfere with the heat shield.

mossberg 500 overmold stock
Hard to find item in OD green. Most reasonably price out there. Excellent product from Hogue with perfect fit.
This item replaced a pistol grip stock on a tactical 500 and the long bolt from a full size stock is needed. This should be mentioned so no surprises. Bolt can be found on line or from Mossberg direct but, it's not cheap. The phillips screws that hold on the butt pad are rather small, #2 phillips driver is too big and a little worried about rounding out screws. But it's all good and don't plan on switching out to another stock soon. All in all, excellent product, great price, friendly customer service and very pleased with purchase.

Premium Mossberg 500 gear.
Along with a forend slide assembly 7.75 inch with nut. I was able to make my dads maverick 88 look like John Kozaks M591 from Ghost Recon Future Soldier. This setup is more than enough for any close quarters scenario. And other practical scenarios may include warning shots and breaching locked doors. By the grace of God during my second tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom I carried a Mossberg with a pistol grip as my secondary weapon system, if you dont count the M203 under my old M4. The LORD is with me like a mighty warrior. And this is a mighty weapon I would recommend getting some non leathal rounds to implement proper escalation of force. Unless you are into hunting then you probably know more than me. Thank you and I wish you the very best in Jesus name.

Mossberg Hogue Stock Set
Put this set on an older model Mossberg 500A. Great upgrade would give 5 stars
but Hogue does not include the 5.5 inch bolt to secure the rear stock on, you have
to use your existing bolt from your old stock. If you are switching from a pistol
grip, the shorter bolt will not fit.
