Most Helpful Positive Review Simple, low cost solution to long factory lop

I bought this to fix the problem of the lop being too long for my wife and bordering on being to long for me. With this shortened lop stock, our 870 fits both of us now and provides better comfort and ergonomics, as well as giving you a better gripping surface when shooting in rainy weather. Pros: Fit is excellent, easy to install, better grip when using shotgun in rainy weather Cons: none so far

Stock set fits fine and looks great on SBS. You do have to keep your thumb on top of grip to keep from hitting your nose with it. Would definitely buy again. Wasn't sure if I would like the rubber feel, but it's ok now.

Bought this for the girls in my friend group and they love it cause it’s easier to hold a shotgun with it installed! So if you have a short stature or just want a shorter pull this works pretty great!

Hogue 870 Overmolded Shotgun stock kit

Bought this for my 20 gauge Remington 870 Wingmaster that i inherited from my pops. If you have an older 20 gauge 870, you will have to purchase the stock and forgrip for a 12 gauge. This stock and Forgrip fit like a glove.

Hogue Rem. 870 Over Molded Shotgun Stock 12 inch

Received the product in a reasonable amount of time. The install was very easy. I was very impressed with the fit and finish. The stock is very quick to the shoulder beacuse of the shorter length. The grip and forestock have a tacky feel to the hand. I have alot more control over the shotgun. Very happy with the purchase.

Hogue Overmold 870 12" LOP

Great stocks for a tactical 870 upgrade. Also fits IAC Hawk and H&R/NEF Pardner Pump, but the for end requires a little filing. I love the grip and feel of these and they reduce recoil by at least half.

Awesome price, awesome product, best price and free shipping. This makes a hUgeeee difference with the lop and is great for small shioters. The install took no time at all.
Hogue makes a great product.

Love the 12" LOP

I was setting up the Remington 870 that I had owned for some time and used for some Trap and Sporting Clays shooting for home defence. The after looking at several reviews I decided that the Hogue Overmolded stock with 12" (lOP) and forend would fit my needs and the price was right. I ordered and have installed it and customer service was excellent.

Economical answer

I bought a 870 hardwood home defense and did not like the way the fore grip was too slippery and length of pull too long to shoot to my right side. I looked at mag pul option, not thrilled about looks or price. I thought about ar style stock with pistol grip but found that pistol grip does not work well on a shot gun. Not only does it transfer too much recoil into your trigger hand, it makes it more awkward to roll over the shot gun and reload. I finally put this set on the gun and found it to be just about perfect. Short length of pull makes it easier to work the action, fore grip has plenty of traction and also allows you to load 7 from the bottom.

Great for tactical home defense

I got this for my tactical home defense Remington 870. I've got several 870s, so I felt I could dedicate one to a specific purpose. To be honest, I also own the H&R Partner, and I got a different tactical stock for it (the Adaptive Tactical M-4 Stock). This stock and foregrip fit the Remington 870 perfectly, and properly distribute the weight and balance for outstanding performance. The foregrip on this however, WILL NOT FIT the H&R Partner, as the tube is slightly bigger diameter than the Remington 870. I suppose a person could force the fit, but it would be a bear to ever remove. Anyway, the overmolded grip is amazing and I would surely recommend this to anyone wanting to enhance the standard wood or synthetic stock and foregrip. I actually bought 4 of these for my adult sons, and one for my granddaughter's 20 ga (it didn't fit. I need to purchase the 20 ga version for her).

Hogue Shotgun Stock O.M. Series for Remington 870 Shotgun Stock with Forend

I was very pleased with the stock portion of this kit. The lenght of pull is now perfect and mobility has improved greatly.
But I would not recommend the Houge forend is poorly designed. The ribs inside will give way over time. They do not run
the full length like the OEM from Remmington. The Forend rubbed on barrel after installing it . I reinstalled the original
and it operated flawlessly. My weapons are built for heavy use and I will not use this forend product from Hogue on my 870.
