rem 870 20ga. fore end problem

fore end would not fit my 870 lt wt mag 20ga., had to put originalwood fore end back to get shotgun to work properly. Probaby my fault for getting one to fit20ga.,not l.w. mag. oh well ,live and learn! LOL!!

Excellent Forend - Great Feel

I wanted to put a shotgun card with velcro on my Remington 870 Compact/Youth 20ga however the stock forend it comes with is longer and would have been blocked by any type of side saddle or shotgun card. This Hogue overmold forend is an early style length and allows full function with a shotgun card or side saddle. The real plus is it has a nice grippy feel to it without being sticky. Another great Hogue product!

Great fit, price and feel

Just like the title says. This forend fit perfectly, looks good, feels great, and was a great price. I put this on a 20ga 870 youth model with an 18 3/4" barrel and a magpul sga stock. The combo looks good and feels way better than the stock furniture.

A tight fit on 20ga. 870.

Arrived quickly. Seems very durable. I like the feel of the rubbery grip. Nice narrower grip. However, I had to reem out the center hole in order for the fore-end tube assembly to fit inside the fore-end grip and screw on the fore-end tube nut. Not a real difficult fix but does take skill and shouldn't be necessary for a brand new model specific Hogue product.

Just got it but it looks good !

I have not put this on the Shotgun yet so I can only say that it is a good looking part, well made !

There isn't anything more I can say without actually installing the part which won’t be until I get my new barrel machined.
