Excellent stock for ruger mini 30 - Hogue Ruger Mini 14/30 and Ranch rifle with Post 180 Serial Numbers Ghillie Tan 78900

I studied this quite a bit and read a few reviews before i purchased the Hogue ghillie tan overmolded stock for my Ruger Mini 30. It fit perfectly. I'm not a guy who likes to add on a bunch of cr%& to my rifles. Thus, I was a little worried that switching to the Hogue would add considerable weight. I don't notice a big difference. The feel of the new stock is a considerable improvement over the original stock. The added length (cannot remember- maybe another inch or so) improved the shouldering of the rifle. I have not shot the rifle since i installed the new stock so i cannot say if it has affected point of impact. I don't expect any issues. Overall, i recommend this as an upgrade to the original.
