I really like these grips on my S&W model 41 pistol. They fit my hand much better than the originals. There's no thumb rest on the right grip panel to get in the way of a right handed shooter. Fit is excellent. The screws are a different size so you need to use the ones that come with the grips. The screws go in from the right panel, not the left panel like the originals. Nothing in The paperwork about how to install. The only thing I had to change was to add some grip tape to the back of the grips. The original grips are checkered on both sides and the back. Thses grips are checkered only on both sides and not in the back. Made the grip slide in my hand. Wood is darker than photo on website. But this set up is so nice I sold my Browning Medalist target pistol and will now use my S&W 41 from now on.
