Have looked at other drop-in synthetic stocks and this one far surpasses the others. Pros: excellent low cost,drop-in stock

Hougue Savage 10,11 top loading short action stock

A lot of thought went into the design of this stock.........it works with the older stagger feed and the newer center feed rifles. It comes already set up for center feed. The directions are clear on how to set it up for stagger feed. Another quality product from Hogue.
Pros:
  • works with both newer and older model savages
Cons:
  • not as stiff as a 350-500 dollar stock, but its a fraction of the price.
Best Used for:
  • hunting, target shooting
