This stock has been great so far on my Savage Model 12 .308. It has a very solid feel with the aluminium bedding running the length of the foregrip. The rubberized coating also gives it a positive firm feeling sure handed grip. The action screw holes lined up perfectly on my model 12 and my original synthetic stock screws worked back with the Hogue. The only complaint I had was that I had to use a Dremel tool to widen the barrel channel bc it actually made contact on my barrel but the ad does mention some minor fitting may be required. All in all I'm happy with it and would recommend to someone else, actually plan on buying one for my wife's savage .243. Also to mention is Optics Plane prompt warehouse to shipping and excellent customer service. I've ordered a lot of stuff with them and no complaints thus far.
