The ghille green stock looks pretty good in person. Wasn't sure I'd like it but was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package. I put this on an early 2000s Savage 110 accutrigger .30-06. In order to fit it needed a plastic spacer piece removed that sits in the stock and was hitting the front of the magazine keeping the action from seating. This piece slid out with needlenose pliers and a little bit of effort. Then one high spot needed about 10 seconds of hand filing. After those two minor tweaks it fit reasonably well. I did notice one area of caution during assembly. If you find that your bolt is hanging up after installing the stock, try backing the rear action screw off a tad. Or shave off a little length from the screw. It is possible for this screw to protrude up into the bolt channel and hang things up if you go too tight, or if the screw is too long for the new stock. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. Much nicer than the factory plastic stock.

I installed my savage 110 30-06 (pre accutrigger) in this stock. No modifications needed. Huge improvement over the original stock. Barrel does touch the left side of the barrel channel but that will be easily fixed once I glass bed the action. Much more ridged than I expected based off my research prior to my purchase.

Bought for an older 110 savage .270. Perfect fit minus having to shave the action screws down a bit. Easy job. Looks great can't wait to shoot. Way nicer than original stock. Color is more grey than green.

Better than I expected, considering the price. My rifle is an older Savage 110, so there was some filing and fitting required. About an hour or so of work and this stock transformed my old tired Savage into something new.

Great buy for $100.

Stock was exactly what I was looking for. Fit my Savage 114 great. Shipping was really slow, took 15 days from time of order to receipt. Optics Planet has great prices but should use someone besides USPS to get their products out to the consumer. Would pay a little extra to get better delivery service.
