Most Helpful Positive Review Hogue Grip Screws

They are priced right, and they are a proper fit. Some allen head screws are an odd size and no key fits exactly right but these fit a 3/32 allen key nice and tight. They are sort of green, not black like you would expect. I recommend starting them without the grip on the pistol to get the coating off of the threads, take them out and reinstall with the grip on. Pros: Hex head screws Cons: Hard to thread, wrong color

I recently bought a used Sig pistol that had worn factory grips and deformed slotted screws. These along with new grips made it look like a new gun.

Worked perfectly for Sig P320 AXG PRO grip panels. Looks much cleaner than the flat head screws that come with the pistol.

Sig Screws

I used these Hogue grip screws for both my P226 Mk 25 and also on my P229 M11A1. They fit like a glove with the olive drab diamond pattern grips I purchased from VZ Grips. There isn’t any gaps, creeks, or wobble for this combination of grip screws and grip choice.

Quality screws

Price was great and the screws are well made. I choose these because the flathead screws are easy to damage. The screws don't interfere with the magazine as I have heard other people complain about. I would buy again.

The Right Screw for the Job

I've always hated slot-headed screws for any application. They're difficult to torque properly and avoid chipping. I had heard of Hogue Hex-headed screws for guns and decided to get some. They are great! The finish holds up and are easy to get the right torque. If you have a gun with worn-out grip screws, give these a try!

Hex grip screws

A nice upgrade, easier to work with and very simple to install. I think they look much better on the Sig 226 with Hogue piranha grips than the factory G2 grips do, but that is my opinion. Finnaly, I have 200 characters on a review of grip screws.

Great grip screws

Bought these for use with a new set of Hogue G-10 Piranha black/gray grips for my P226 MK25. What can I say? They were a perfect fit, installation was a breeze, and they look great with the dark grips. The hex head is a massive improvement over the SIG factory slotted screws, that's for darned certain.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the necessary hex tool wasn't included. I, like most of us, have a gazillon Allen keys and hex bits of various sizes, so it didn't take me long to find the proper bit for my screw driver. But, still... if the tool had been included in the baggie, it would have saved me a couple of minutes. I would have rated 4.5 stars, but it seems OpticsPlanet only allows full-star ratings.

Works as described, replaces flat head slotted factory grip screws. Looks better and easier to tighten without marring the screw head. Bought these along with hogue G10 grips for my P226 and it makes for a perfect combination by enhancing the overall asthetics of the pistol.

Hex Screws

Way better looking than the stock flat tip screws that came stock on my P226.Much nicer finished look. Perfect fit. Good price.Easy to install. Maybe put a very little amount of blue lock tight to keep in place.

Hex head grip screws
