Most Helpful Positive Review Hogue Aluminum handgun grips
On Sig pistols, one of my problems has always been the size of the grip for my hands. Hasn't spoiled Sigs for me, but I've looked for years for the "better grip". The Hogue aluminum "extreme" grips have answered my search to perfection. The reduced size of the grip, the very positive checkering, and the durability, all combine to make these units a real delight on both my CCW and my range Sigs. Great product!! Pros: Ergonomics Cons: Checkering might be to rough for some shooters

I’m surprised how good it fits and seats on my P229 frames. I have purchased all available sets to replace those ugly plastic grips. These certainly are a huge improvement and look great! Fully recommended.

Superb Fit!

Looks good and the grip feel is outstanding! Size wise it is somewhat smaller than a Sig Legion grip which I appreciate for concealed carry. Aluminum Grip yet it is grippy due to its Checkering. I have bought 2 of this grip for different pistols. Highly recommend this, if the Legion grip is a bit too much width and you desire a bit more concealabilty.

These grips are very nice, light in weight and fits perfectly. They are extremely light but very effective. Somewhat smaller in size than the standard grips. Great service and fast shipping from Optics Planet as usual.

Hogue Alluminum Checkered Grips for SIG M11a1

These new grips make a huge difference for the Sig M11. The grips were very easy to install, and I put them on in less than 5 minutes. I recommend ordering Hex head screws for these, and using blue Loctite so that the screws don't come lose. Put the grips and all four screws on first without Loctite, and once you have the grips seated properly, remove one at a time and add a small amount to the thread.

These grips at slightly thinner than the stock grips, and make the gun look so nice. The feel is incredible. I would give these 5 stars!

Best Sig P-229 Grip Out There!!!!

I have owned my Sig P-229 9mm for over 12 years, and have tried and mostly disliked each and every set of grips out there! Nicks, Scratches, Dents, Loss of Finish...none of which could ever be repaired. Well, these Solid one piece Billet Aluminum Grips do not dent, bubble, wear away and even the most major scratches can be touched up with Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black. Amazing Grips. You will only need one set....these will NEVER Wear Out!
Pros: Not Even One!
Cons: Less Than One!

Worth the money Unknown long term quality

Since they were out of stock, I had never seen them, and it took a very long time to get them, I had forgotten what the grips looked like. They are a very stark flat black. Their feel and grip are very good, but I wonder about how good they would feel if they are very cold. Also, I have no idea how well they will hold up , so they get a 4 over all.
Pros: Well made, easy to install
Cons: A VERY flat black
