Clean glass, robust design, holds zero very well. Green reticle is VERY nice out here in the NM desert.

dot only, extremely sensitive motion sensor

First of all, the photos are misleading - the last picture shows 2 reticles, but the model I got supports only "dot". If you want 2 reticles (as I wanted) you need to order ARO-MRS-RD/GR/GD (not the presense of MRS in the name). If there is no MRS, it is dot only. Seems obvious when you already know it, but I didn't notice while purchasing an relied on the misleading picture.
Second thing to know is that the motion sensor is extremely sensitive. I touch my desk where the sight is and the dot wakes up. I bet it'll come up all the time in my safe when anybody walks nearby. And when my kids are running, the whole house shakes, so no doubt about it.
Otherwise seems nice. The covers are bikini style.

An okay red dot

I bought the green dot version. Over all impressions is its well made. The lower rise supplied is something you dont see with other brands. A little concerning on the extra battery tray supplied with the unit so I assume use caution if you take the battery out.

The dot itself is actually pretty crisp. I have a slight astigmatism and thought the dot was pretty uniform and didnt bloom alot.

The con I came across is reflection of the laser color in the unit. Even on the lower settings it was noticeably bad. I only noticed this while indoors. Using the unit outside I did not notice it at all and while in dark enviroments it wasnt present. Not sure while its showing up in ambient lighting but its there

Love this new red dot works great on my ak with the low profile mount

Sighted in at 50 yards with 10 rounds. Brightness is good and clarity is great. Gold is easy on the eyes but no compromise to the effectiveness.
