My Go-To Optic: 5th One Purchased and Still the Best

I purchased another Holosun ARO Advanced Rifle Optic 1x22mm (Green 2MOA Dot, Code: 28Y-RD-ARO2-ARO-GR2) on 05/08/2026, actually the 5th one of these I have bought. It has officially become my absolute go-to green dot for all my rifle setups.

Best red dot in the market for the price. Opticplant is the best.

Absolutely love it, wasn't sure how the gold dot was going to be but it seems to be working great for the environment I'm in.

Would recommend for northeast region, wooded areas.

Not too bad, view could be larger and a QD would be appreciated.

Listen, the dot works as intended that’s why it’s a 5star. That isn’t to say that it’s perfect. Before buying a gold dot I suggest you go try and find one and look through it. I think the lens is a bit more blue than typical red dots, I think it’s because of the color, and battery life. Depending on your eyes the color may not be what you expect.

All in all it’s a great optic for the price, just double check the reasons you would get a gold dot over the standard….

P.S. some research shows that color blind shooters will be able to pick up the gold easier than other colors. So there is that.

Great price for this Holosun optic I like the gold dot which I had not seen before. So far it has held zero and been very sturdy. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a different color dot.

Havent shot yet but functions great. Came with all original accessories shipping was fast.

The first dot I’ve received that’s better than a $30 optic off Amazon, most of the higher priced accessories aren’t worth the money if you do a comparison to an Amazon product (lights and lasers are significantly brighter on amazon than the popular brands your thinking of rn && reach jus as far), a lot of the time they are actually worse, but this dot is by far an improvement. Easy to pick up when aiming down target , bright and holds zero, comes with a low pro mount if you don’t like the riser. Worth the money
