Top tier optic
Best Aimpoint type optic with the circle dot reticle. Wanted an eotech but no shake-awake option. This is hands down just as bombproof and has a crisp reticle better than any other optic I've seen.

Definitely an optic that punches above its weight class. Daylight bright, shake awake, multi-reticle, crisp and clear. Holding zero so far as well

perfect pair
I am not new to entry or mid-level red dots or prism scopes however I don’t have any high-end to compare it to however I have this on an FPC 22 long rifle and it is perfect. Looks like it was made for the gun and very accurate. The only thing I wish is if they would’ve made it in a slightly larger diameter lens and had more field of view. But for what it’s worth and the intended use of target shooting, groundhogs close range and squirrel hunting its perfect I love the circle dot reticle and the green is very clear and crisp with multiple levels of brightness really makes for a good site acquisition. I would buy another one.

Best budget red dot
Probably the best budget red dot on the market right now. Comes with 2 mounts, a extra battery tray, and lens caps (although not the best) . Clear glass with crisp reticle. All for less than $200 there isnt a better deal for all of this out the box. 10/10 would recommend.

Great product
The red dot sight from holosun is a great option for the price. I have had no issues with the performance but that's subject to change as I've only shot with it twice now. So far has been amazing though, especially as a first red dot.

Good Budget Red Dot
Overall build quality solid, however will see how it lasts to the test of time. Very little blooming compared to other red dots, so great dot quality. Shake awake function so far flawless. Parallax is non existent. My only criticism is a.) 175 for this class of dot is a bit high, got mine for 150 which is a much better overall price for this b.) classic holosun blue tinting for their gold / red dots, have plenty of other quality dots without such a strong tinting, feel like this could be improved on. Overall great dot, controls are crisp, dot / glass is great, however some improvements needed are tint + price.

AR15 must-have!
I'm updating my OG Bushmaster XM15-E2S. The ARO combined with a Holosun HM3X makes for a great optic system, and really looks the part.
The glass clarity is very good for the price, and while the 22mm sounds small, compared with the Holosun 510C for example, when focused on the target, the ARO body disappears and the reticle is clearly visible.
I have mine set at 1/3 co-witness on a 1/2" rear-extended picatinny riser (to get the magnifier eye relief just right) with a 0.7 cheek riser. Perfect presentation every time.
I consider the value for money to be excellent and I love my Holosun ARO. Well worth considering if you're looking for an AR15 optic.

Great Optic for shooting steel
This is an excellent optic for the price point. I like the circle-dot for shooting ringing steel targets at our gun range. Attaching the optic to my M&P15-22 took less than a minute. Sighting in only took a few shots to dial in and the dot is very bright in any lighting environment. Also, I do like the feature that if you leave the optic turned on and set the rifle down, it will auto-shutdown after a few minutes to save the battery. The minute you pick up or move the rifle the optic turns back on immediately.

its ok, but theres better options
I have been using Holosun exclusively for all my firearms but this model has some issues. Mostly just weird reflections that I’m positive are defects, but Holosun says it’s “normal”. The dot is clear, but you have to turn the brightness almost all the way down in normal lighting or you get reflections that are distracting

Outstanding!
This sight is an amazing bargain! Well made, and comes with everything you need. Try the gold colored dot (reticle) - it’s amazingly easy to pick up against all backgrounds. This is likely the best value in “red dot” optic sights on the market currently. I couldn’t be happier with it!
