Eps carry mrs green - Holosun EPS-Carry 1x0.58x0.77in Reflex Red Dot Sight w/Multiple Reticle System

I purchased the sight for my S&W M&P Shield Plus Performance Center 4”, but the plate and screws that came with the dot did not fit. I had to buy them separately to complete the installation. Other than that, the sight is pretty dang good.

I have a slight astigmatism, so the 2MOA dot has a very minor starburst effect for me. However, I was able to fix that by lowering the brightness, which helped a lot. The 32MOA, though, is a different story. This was my first time trying a 32MOA dot, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. For me, it was completely blurred and had a significant starburst effect. No matter how much I lowered the brightness, I couldn’t make out the 32MOA dot clearly—it just looked very blurry.

That said, I’m sure this issue is specific to my eyes and wouldn’t be a problem for others. Overall, I really like the dot and plan to keep it on 2MOA for now. I’m still pretty annoyed that I had to purchase the plate and screws separately, but it is what it is.
