Josh A's Review of Holosun EPS-Carry 1x0.58x0.77in Reflex Red Dot Sight w/Multiple Reticle System
Enclosed optics really are the only way to go now that they're available for pretty much every gun.
The only negative I've found with the eps is that you'll need to file one of the screws down, at least when using with a glock. I think they should have a shorter screw from the factory for this, but they don't. The screw that goes over the extractor plunger needs to be shortened or it will touch the plunger and not allow the gun to extract. I'm even using an adapter plate on the 43x mos and the screw was still too long. So if you have a slide that uses an actual "k" footprint that allows you to direct mount the eps without a plate then you'll have to shorten the screw even more than i did. It's not hard. I did it in about 5 minutes while taking off a little at a time with a hand file making sure i didn't take off more than necessary so i had as much thread engagement as possible. Again, not hard, just something to keep in mind. Don't just thread the screw in straight out of the box and think you're good to go. Definitely function test your gun after installing.
