Most Helpful Positive Review Sweet Optic
I haven't been a huge fan of red dots on pistols until now. I found myself having to search for the dot, particularly in bright outdoor light. Put this on my glock 45, well my armorer did. Can't miss with the chevron reticle and the big red circle will let you know exactly which direction to look if...

Most Helpful Negative Review No one is home at Primary Arms/Holosun
This is a Holosun sight with an exclusive Primary Arms reticle, which was originally only sold through PA, but is obviously now for sale elsewhere. I've purchased a number of these sights, and the latest one shows blatant ignorance on the part of the QA team over at Holosun. The newest batch has man...

In my prvious review I complained that my red dot was defective, well Holosun is replacing it with a new one! Hoping that this one has no issues, but the reticle is just amazing.
Pros:
  • Great customer service
  • Best reticle in the market
Cons:
  • Pricey reticle
Best Used for:
  • Great pistol red dot for home defense

Quit working after a thousand rounds

by Sungwook Yang, Verified Owner from CT, United States Written on August 16, 2025
The reticle is great, when it works. Mine just stopped working after around a thousand rounds. The red dot just disappeared. I changed the battery but it did not bring it back to life. I did not drop it nor put it in the water. Not even seen the rain. I sent an email to Holosun four days ago and am still waiting for their answer.
Pros:
  • great reticle
Cons:
  • Absolutely unreliable
Best Used for:
  • don''t waste your money or time

not for any Cz

by iowarider, Verified Owner from IA, United States Written on November 26, 2024
I have been looking for an adapter plate that would replace the rear sight it fits into the dovetail. I need the adapter plate to mount it to a CZ po1 and there does not seem to be any available. both optics planet and hollow sun have not responded with a solution as of yet
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • can not be used out of the box.

primary arms Chevron rectical

by iowarider, Verified Owner from IA, United States Written on November 22, 2024
I bought this specifically for the Chevron instead of dot rectical. I have astigmatism and dots tend to flare. A like being able to place the point of impact at the top of the pyramid, vs covering it up with the dot.
I took one star off because I am mount it on a CZ p-01 omega and finding an adapter plate has been nearly impossible. As they say, depending on the gun you are mounting it on, your milage may very.

love the Chevron rectil

by iowarider, Verified Owner from IA, United States Written on November 15, 2024
For me, the Chevron reticle is much more accurate than the dot. I like the point of aim being at the tip of the chevron rather than the target being buried by the dot. At the same time, if you simply need fast acquisition, it's better as well.
