Paid I think $190 (w/$25 promotion) and change for this scope. Delivery was very prompt (<7 days). Has a high mount that is open, so if you have iron sights mounted you can easily see them and use them as a backup if this primary fails. I mounted this on a Ruger PC9 and the stock iron sights with that work very well with this dot. Because of the high mount, might need to compensate for close ranges (<50 yds) because its about 3 in above the bore axis. In that case, you might want to get a low mount. Dot was easy to mount and sight in. Battery compartment is on the side, if not mistaken takes a standard CR2032 battery. Because of the "shake and wake feature", one of the primary reasons I purchased this dot, I don't have to worry about shutting off the battery all the time. if the dot is still for a given amount of time it shuts off automatically. When its moved around the dot comes on. You can manually shut the dot off if you want to put it away for long term storage, by simultaneously pressing both the "+" and "-" buttons for five seconds. Turn back on by pressing and hold "+" button for 3 to 5 seconds. Brightness and contrast is very acceptable in low and bright lighting conditions. Dot seems durable enough for most applications. Downside, the lens caps/covers could be better, would be nice if they were integrated (flip up?), but I can deal. So far accuracy, once sighted in, seems good. Haven't used it extensively, so stay tuned.
So far I am happy with the purchase. Haven't...
