Most Helpful Negative Review Good for target practice, not real Home defense in low light.

great budget enclosed optic

I put this on a Ruger 10/22 carbon fiber model for steel challenge competition. I didn’t want to break the bank and this got me from undesignated to a class B shooter in a division I never competed in after just one match (5 stages). I like the multiple reticle and green gets bright even in bright sunlight. I used just the dot for competition but I played around with the circle dot just target practicing and if I put this on a AR or PCC I think that would be nice. I also liked it came with low mount which is how I use it but the option for a riser is nice.

First Real Optic

I bought a Romeo 5 red dot as my first optic because it was cheap on Amazon. Now that I am a more experienced shooter, I upgraded to this optic and love it. Feels robust and sturdy and viewport is sharp and crisp. The green dot is also easier on the eye for someone with astigmatism. Definitely would recommend.

Pretty Solid.

I’m kinda surprised how much value you get out of this red dot. The only thing would be the finish on it. It’s not the best and will show a lot of scratches but that doesn’t bother me that much. Overall really nice without breaking the bank. The included mounts for it are trash so you will need to get a better one before seeing the full potential of the optic.
