I put this on my 1911 with a dovetail adapter and the sight is awesome. Very accurate and easy to sight in. Solar panel on top is nifty and multiple brightness levels are good. Looks and performs great on my 1911. Green over red is worth the extra money imo.
Pros:
  • Sight will power on with movement and cut off on its own after time
  • While under the sun sight will work without battery
  • Dot stays on center from any angle you look through it
Cons:
  • Hard to clean edges of glass with out a qtip, smudges easy
Best Used for:
  • pistols
