Optic is great. My complaint is the mount comes as lower 1/3 co-witness. If you are like me and prefer a absolute co-witness, good luck finding a Holosun mount.
Cons:
- Included mounting options

This is a great robust optic for a high powered rifle. I am a fan of Holosun, but I discovered this optic was not really for me in the long run. If you have astigmatism like me, even having the green reticle, the dot starbursts. I tried it at different positions on the rail, but it just did not go away. If I did not have this condition, I would not think about replacing it. I would even have paired it with a magnifier. Overall, I would highly recommend this optic, just was not my condition.

The sight is otherwise perfect - just what I was looking for, but the out of square 65 MOA reticle (canted slightly clockwise) makes the sight useless to me. I may purchase another, hoping that the reticle will be square with the sight, but I more than likely will buy another make with this experience, and at this price point. Sad that this was not recognized at Holosun in quality control and inspection. Makes me second guess making another Holosun purchase in general.

I got this sight to mount on a CMMG Banshee MK47. I was considering another Trijicon MRO but heard good things about the new Holosun sights so decided to give it a try. I am extremely impress day the quality of this sight and the features that it possesses. The battery life has also been very good thus far. Two thumbs up!

I had been hearing a lot about Holosun for years. But I really wanted one that was fit for field use(defense, drills, duty, etc.) While I had heard how much abuse Holosuns can take, lens caps, a flash killer, and a qd mount were very welcome features that sold me on the optic. Especially for the price. As for performance, the reticle is very crisp and offers plenty of brightness adjustments. Works fine on bright days and low light. Though I heard some people say that the mount it comes with is not the best, I have not had any shifts in zero in the time I have been running the optic. I also like the "donut of death" for additional reference in aiming at distance or with determining distance. The shake awake system is really nifty. Definitely helps on battery life. The ability to change how you want your reticle along with being able to switch from manual to automatic brightness adjustment makes this optic very versatile. In an age where optics and red dots are becoming practically standard for most modern rifles, it is ludicrous to expect simple dot optics to remain at prices above 500 bucks. If you ask me, even 400 is too high for a red dot these days. For people that want a good performing optic that also gives you lots of options in a sturdy package, this one gives you everything you need for defense and or duty. Even the simpler Holosuns are good if you don't want the additional lens caps and such. Also, the warrantee on this optic is nice. One thing I will say is that th...

Pros:
- Plenty of features for the price
- Lots of brightness settings
- Different reticle configurations
- Shake awake feature helps battery life
- Good crisp green dot
- LED powered reticle is pleasant to the eye
- A good qd mount
- Good sturdy design
Cons:
- The auto brightness adjustment feature isn't always at what I consider the correct brightness. Sometimes it makes the reticle too bright.
- Slight tint in lense. Honestly not much of a difference. But it is a factor for some people.
Best Used for:
- defense
- duty
- sport
- Drills

Upon receiving mine it was abundantly clear the reticle was crooked. the 9 o'clock hash on the circle was at about 7:30 and the 3 was at about 2. The sight is much smaller than it looks in pictures. The tube does not have a great field of view. At this price point, definitely recommend stepping up to the Sig Romeo 4 series.

When I set out looking for a new product to purchase I put in hours upon hours of research before making my decision. Let me say that I put in extra time on this purchase as this was going to be a purchase I would depend on to possibly save a life. I have owned plenty high dollar optics in the past and this one is possibly the best but at a much lower price. So far it exceeds and out performs every other optic I have owned including Aimpoints and my Trijicons. If you are on the fence about which optic to buy I can assure you that you won’t be sorry if you pull the trigger on this one. So far it’s ran flawless and I am very happy with the purchase. You will be too!
Pros:
- Rugged and reliable
- sharp reticle
- clear optics
- Battery life, ease of use, options, one shot zero, ease of set up
- light but solid
Best Used for:
- Police
- Military
- Civilian
- or anyone who is looking for the best optic

Great little red dot. I set it up with the holosun 3x magnifier. Its everything I wanted. Super light and clear as day. Only con is that the 2032 battery they send you with it is garbage. So make sure the get a quality battery right off the start. Definitely would recommend. And shipping from optic planet was great.
Cons:
- Battery. Poor quality. Just get a Duracell or something of equivalents
Best Used for:
- I have it on my 300 blackout ar15

Excellent build quality (this model is 7075); clarity is exceptional; the dot, circle, & circle dot reticle is MUCH crisper than Aimpoint or EOTech optics; the auto-adjust is good unless you are in a dark area shooting into a highly lit area (in that scenario, I enable manual brightness); unlikely I will ever experience a dead battery with the solar backup and Holosun's efficient green LED. Super light and the torture test videos I see on YouTube demonstrate their seemingly indestructable build quality. This model has a removable spacer for low mounting on a shotgun or other non-AR platform or, with the spacer, co-witness of standard AR height sights. The ONLY thing I wish appeared better built is the QD base. I have not had an issue at all with it shooting loose or breaking on a 9mm PCC, 5.56 AR, and a 7.62x54R Vepr, it just does not LOOK as beefy as some other QD mounts.
I have several Holosun optics and am happy with all of them.
Pros:
- Price
- battery life
- Solar panel for basically unlimited use
- Retical is fantastic
- Clarity & construction

Looks good out of the box. I haven't had field or range use. but works well in initial opening of package and look over. Battery installation is face down on this holosun. Hope this review is helpful. Must have battery in for solar to work unlike other models at least the other 1 that I have.
Best Used for:
- everything & anything you want to keep safe
