It works Great, light weight good battery life and shake awake.

Coming from an EOTECH, transitioning to the micro dot world has been a solid move. I really like that this optic offers both a traditional dot and the 65 MOA “donut” for a 7-yard reference. I have it mounted on a Unity FAST mount, and for the price point, it outperforms a lot of the competition. It also looks great.

Except for the reticle, the most important part!! Need the green color, and want more than a tiny 2 moa spec of a dot. The circle dot is a great way to go, however this site has multiple blurry dots and circles. Not too bad at the lowest setting, but it's barely visible. There is no focus adjustment. And to be sure it wasn't my eyes, had my 21 year old daughter with 20/20 vision look. She agreed. If it wasn't so blurry I would have kept it even though the circle is slightly rotated clockwise. But I can't live with paying $350 for a sight rieticle that looks like it's worth less than $35.

This sight is really great. It’s light, durable and easy to use. I had it mounted in seconds and had it shooting tight groups quickly. I’m looking at getting a couple more for my other guns. The Green doesn’t wash out in the sunlight.

I had high hopes for this optic with all the positive reviews and videos online. You can imagine my disappointment when i turned it on and the recticle would not switch and the emitter would change from a nice crisp dot to a starburst pattern for no apparent reason. I'm sure i could have gotten a lemon but it makes me leary of buying another holosun. I know from experience that aimpoint and eotechs will last. I'm going to rmr this one and maybe give holosun one more chance. I'll update my review if warranted

Purchased this optic to put on one of my AR's. I'm trying something different on each one and so far so good. Anyways, I do have a slight astigmatism and this optic is laser sharp! No problems with sight at all, problem was with the instructions. The adjustment for windage is reversed. Turn it counterclockwise to move reticle to the right. Once I got that figured out, it was same-hole-sally at 50 yds. Good enough for me.

I have become a fan of Holosun over the past few yrs but this is the only model that ever gave me an issue, my fault though for not having battery cover fully tightened down, it was shutting off during initial zeroing in. The 7075 housing is great but I purchased this model for the extras, caps and kill flash. The QD mount is good but I did have an American Defense 1/3 QD laying around so I swapped it out. This model does have a shine on the finish, I taped off the glass and used some Flat black spray paint and it was good to go. The only downside to the Holosun brand other than being maid in China (20% chance there may an issue out of the box) and the water rating but what can you expect for 300 duckies..I am not swimming across a river with it and the 1 meter rating at 30 min is good for my needs. The green reticle is by far better than the red IMO, I can pick the green up much better even against foliage. I do have a minor astigmatism, the reticle is clear to me but on higher settings gets a star burst look on the dot, who runs around with their dot set above 10 anyway. I run mine on 5-7 most of the time. The shake awake feature is awsome as is the 50K hr battery life on 50% power. I have my original ACSS red reticle HS optic still running on the first battery and its been 3 yrs since purchase, to be fare though I have it set up on a rifle that I don't take out much but still.

Over all it's solid and the kill-flash that comes with it is awesome, because it comes with it and most other red/green dot's do not. The versatility of how it can be mounted is great for multiple application's, and that the riser can be removed to create a lower profile. The setting's are good for all lighting condition's, and the option to have just the 2moa dot or the 2moa dot with recital make's it even more versatile. Also the nicest feature of this optic is its sleep mode. It turns off after the set time you program it, and once it senses movement it turns back on to the last setting.
