Huge red glare, i can't see trough the optic. - OpticsPlanet Exclusive Holosun HS403GL 2 MOA Micro Red Dot Sight

There is a huge red glare on the upper half of the glass, I see it even when it is turned off and in daylight. It is way to distracting to see the all red in the upper half of the sight. It might be bad glass. I tried it again in the day, same result. I think I am going to return it to Optics Planet. I am now trying to decide if I want to return and try something else or exchange it. This just seriously can't be right. I have been buying Primary arms sights for years and even ones I buy on eBay never have issues. For an optic that is twice the price I expected better.
