Excellent Optic

I was skeptical about putting a miniature red dot sight(MRDS) on my handguns when they first came out. The process and price at the time seemed like a hassle. These days however its easy to find a milled slide or a local gunsmith who can mill your factory slide. There are plenty of options to choose from when it comes to MRDS options. Having seen plenty of other shooters use Holosuns on their handguns and carbines I decided to give them a chance. A year later I have Holosuns on all my pistols including a Glocks, Shadow Systems, Staccatos and Langdon Berettas. For the price you pay you get a sturdy red dot with awesome battery time, good glass, and reticule options. I've used them in several shooting courses where they have been banged around and they still held zero. If you're looking to jump on the MRDS bandwagon Holosun is an excellent choice that will not break the bank.

Shame on Trijicon for suing Holosun. They make an overall better product at a lower price. Shake awake, auto dim, "forever" battery life, side door for battery replacement. It is a great reflex sight at a reasonable price.

I wanted to give this a good test before I reviewed the sight. I am going to make a very long and frustrating process short. I ordered a 507c, and had it about 3 months. Excellent multi-reticle red dot

Tough red dot with solar backup. I like that I can choose a dot, a ring, or a ring with dot. Mine arrived with a dead battery which meant I got to try out the solar backup which works well. Optics Planet credited me some money back for the dead battery so I'm not going to ding that in the review.

Great small sight

Fits perfectly on the Glock 45 to give you a nice red dot sight but still keep a small profile.

Holosun HS507C-x2

Mounted on Taurus 692 Tracker revolver. This red dot on a revolver works great for these aging eyes. I recommend giving it a try.

Can’t Beat It

Hands down the best optic for full size or compact. I looked at several other dots in stores before purchasing this one. The 2 MOA gives you good target acquisition without covering too much of the target, especially when shooting at distance. Pretty easy to operate. Looks really sharp on a Glock!

Holosun worth the money

I have used a variety of cheaper red dots and I am constantly disappointed when I compare them to my Holosun optics. Holosun are a bit more expensive, but worth every penny.

Great pistol site

I really love the Holosun 507 platform. I prefer the ACCS Vulcan reticle. It is the easiest to pick up. Especially if the sight is mounted as a secondary sight on a rifle scope. Moving from a magnified rifle scope to the ACCS Vulcan reticle on the 507 is seamless

Great red dot sight

This sight is perfect for your G17/G19 or related RMR cut handgun. It works great, easy to dial in, the battery goes in the side without removing it in contrast to removing the whole site to change the battery. But it very rarely needs a battery because it's got solar (yup) and shake awake. I got the Vulcan site which is a great way to get on target when you draw or start from low hand or are just moving from target. I have several Holosuns and have no complaints (and with the price can afford to put one on everything). China company but great value for the money.

Love it. Easy RMR mounting. Shake awake works perfectly and three types of reticals along with brightness settings make it awesome for day or night targeting.
