Next as good as the 1st - Holosun HS507C-X2 1x 2 MOA Dot Reflex Red Dot Sight

This is my 2nd Holosun purchase, because I was SO impressed with the 1st. This time I went with the Vulcan Reticle model in RED and it is nothing short of SWEET. It took me all of 10 minutes and 1 10 round mag to zero this baby at 25 yards. If you are used to the 2 MOA dot as I was, you’ll need some practice time to get used to the Chevron reticle, which is a 10 MOA and makes precision target shooting more challenging given its significantly larger size, but thats not the star of this unit. I’ve only recently started shooting from a draw and this is where the unit shines. That big circle (I think 100 MOA) really helps you to find the Chevron and more importantly guides you quickly to where your weapon is actually pointed: low, high, left, right. When accurately pointed the big circle disappears leaving your eyes focused solely on the target. It's truly extraordinary how helpful and useful the big circle is, especially if you are just starting to get used to firing from a draw. Instructions, mounting hardware, and adjustment tools are all included. Brightness adjustments, solar back up are pluses. I prefer the manual adjustment brightness options vs the auto. Depending on lighting conditions inside an indoor range, the brightness fluctuates and can be distracting. My other 507C -X2 is the Green multi-retical. BOTH look great, but have to say the GREEN beats the RED visually, especially for me with 64 year old eyes. I am planning on a 3rd Holosun for my new Kimber and won’t be looking anywhere else. It will be another Holosun, but will go back to the GREEN option, which of course is a personal preference choice. Regardless of YOUR choice, I say you can’t go wrong with a Holosun.
