Received with the unit not taking internal battery power. Only though the solar cell. Double checked with a different battery same result. No big surprise coming from China, they have TERRIBLE quality assurance. Will be wasting my time to get a replacement, and if that one is a dud too DO NOT BUY. Even then I would be VERY hesitant to put an optic with such terrible quality assurance on a rifle I might need to trust my life with.
