Wowed by all the features and build - Holosun Paralow HS515CU Micro Red Dot Sight with Solar Power

I guess "Made in China" is politically contentious these days. There are accusations of lower quality, loss of USA jobs, greed, etc., associated with overseas manufacturing. I was in this camp for nearly two decades. When I was a kid the same was said about "Made in Japan"...look what that became!
Enough of the politics.

This is one kick-a$$ red dot sight. I am super impressed at both the USA originated design specs and the Chinese execution of them. Very little greenish-blue FOV discoloration, super close to 1x magnification, ultra-sharp reticle, both automatic solar AND battery power, and so on. The closest Trijicon is 2x the price of the Holosun 515CU, but an otherwise even to lesser performer. The Holosun 515CU is simply a world class all around performer both in features and build quality.

This sight is really the best of both USA design ingenuity combined with up-and-coming overseas manufacturing. I am nothing but impressed with both. Now let USA manufacturing compete, I say.
