Holosun Green laser Optic
I purchased this optic for a home defense AR I liked some of the features it had and after doing some research I purchased it. What I liked was the Green laser it had which I felt would be a good for fast acquisitions in a self defense situation. The cost was reasonable and it had some good features, it appears to be well built as it is my first holosun purchase (aimpoint sig Romeo optics) so this is what I will be comparing it to.
Honestly was doubtful at first
The price was a bit above my budget and other laser integrated sights were cheaply made. I ended up deciding to reply on on the brand name and I have to say Holosun made an awesome laser integrated red dot. I love it, put it on my MCK so it looks so cool with the laser & strobe light.

Quality and Flexibility
A friend purchased one of these a few months ago. The flexibility to move from weapon to weapon easily quickly retain zero is very good compared to other sites at 2 to 3 times the price this provides excellent value with a red dot and a green laser.

Solid enough so far
The main thing I like about this is its all metal construction and then its green 5mw laser. This laser will make it across a lake, I like to pair green lasers(more range) with red dots to make a better contrast between aiming points when aiming down sights. So far mine seems pretty durable, but I'm having to tighten this thing down quite a bit to keep it from having a forwards backwards play on all of my pic rails. Also the flip open covers seem to rotate pretty often, meaning i have to rotate them back into a proper orientation.

Amazing Red Dot/Laser
So when I looked around for a red dot/laser, this was the one that popped up. I had heard good things about Holosun and have five Vortex red dots (a Venom, Strike Fire II and Sparc on a pistol, and four AR's). I wanted a laser for the "House Gun", but Vortex did not have one so took a shot with this one and very glad I did. The laser has NO problems painting an object in broad daylight at 50 years and farther. Pretty impressive in my book. Caps flip up easily and stay out of the way and there are three buttons on the top with the first turning on the laser, if you want it on, the next turns on the red dot and is the up button for brightness of it and the third one is the down button for lowering brightness. The QD mounts is a real plus as well and it stays locked in. This red dot/laser looks impressive as well and is worth the money.

very nice scope for the money
I put this on my Romanian Draco ak47 zero in great and the green laser is very bright compared to some. Very well made. takes some practice to turn on your red dot by it self but once you do it's dead on and holds zero well.

It does what it says it does.
I'm becoming increasingly impressed with Holosun. The sight is for my Mossberg 500 that I've fitted with a top rail. Glass seems really high quality and the green dot is very bright. It's just a bit too bulky for an AR in my opinion, but looks great on a shotgun.
