Pure cheap trash

Written on Aug 22, 2020

The lockdown brand isn't a quality brand name, this product backs that statement up. Its thin cheap plastic that cracks and the magnet barely works, also it will just fall off, I got a few of these and all of them are trash. Also shame on OP for making us write drawn out reviews, we should be free to write as little or much as we want.

Solid enough so far

Written on Jul 23, 2020

The main thing I like about this is its all metal construction and then its green 5mw laser. This laser will make it across a lake, I like to pair green lasers(more range) with red dots to make a better contrast between aiming points when aiming down sights. So far mine seems pretty durable, but I'm having to tighten this thing down quite a bit to keep it from having a forwards backwards play on all of my pic rails. Also the flip open covers seem to rotate pretty often, meaning i have to rotate them back into a proper orientation.

Nicly padded, ridgid and sturdy, comfortable to carry

Written on Jul 08, 2020

The main compartment where you would carry both your rifles is very sturdy and padded, and can be locked through metal holes built into the zippers. Overall this case is pretty long and could defiantly carry some longer hunting shotguns and longer rifles. The backpack straps can be concealed behind a Velcro flap, which is useful when you're carrying this weapons case by its build in open-closable handle or its included shoulder strap. Now, all the zippers are of the high quality kind of course, they're really good, the fabric is thick an defiantly holding up to the prickly and rough nature of the outdoors, being poked by sticks, sat on the ground and moving through light brush, that sort of thing. The front pockets are well thought out and made, but id have to say my favorite feature about this is either its rugged build quality or its backpack style carrying feature, which i find actually very comfortable.

Fantastic grip

This is the most comfortable angled grip Ive tried, i really like it, its defiantly my favorite for this material and price range. The texturing is good and mine seated very well with 0 problems or looseness.

Great chassis

Written on Jun 29, 2020

This is a good chassis for your 1022, lightweight, sturdy, very customizable. This system will take a standard 1022 barrel but has a removable "insert" that can be taken out if you want to run a bull barrel. The top rail that comes with the pro models are great, the feel solid. The length of pull is pretty exceptional for people 5'10 to maybe about 6'1, give or take an inch or two in either direction. it has a more of a granulated grip on the front side of the grip and more of a studded grip on the back, its great. It appears you can change the direction in which the stock folds on this chassis system. My 1022 comes out to about 28 inches folded and 36/37 inches extended. There is also storage space located in the handle of the grip, use a punch or similar device to open it by pressing a button right by the compartment door, towards the back of the weapon system right at the bottom of the grip. The stock is very solid when extended, no play of any kind in mine. The cheek rest has 5 total positions, fully retracted then 4 clicks up at about 1/2 inch each for a maximum height of 2 inches. I don't feel like its going o break but i will admit you can shake the platform and hear it rattle when its extended higher than an inch usually. Now, that being said, I shoot with mine on the 4th and second highest setting, approximately 1 and 1/2 inches raised, and its sturdy when i shoot with it.

All in all, its defiantly a good system if you want the most out of your 1022, and I'm even go
