Great Compact Laser Option
I've never been a huge fan of lasers on pistols. Most are bulky and difficult to activate and throw of the whole balance of the gun. Not the case with this Holosun RML laser. It's easy to use, controls are ambidextrous and i have not had any of the issues mentioned in other reviews posted here. This is pretty much the most compact pistol laser you can get outside of grip lasers. Target acquisition is lightning fast with this laser mounted on my pistol. I've always had great experience with Holosun optics, and I can now add their laser to that list.

Great Laser for some Range Fun
Picked up the green laser. Impressed on the ruggedness and how solid this unit is made. Fits great and secures very tight to the gun. Even dropped the pistol at the range and laser was fine. I read some reviews about the battery draining. No idea what those users are doing. Bad battery? I've had min...

Well, built, Small footprint, Works well, BUT!
I have had this rail-mount laser from Holosun for about a year, during which time I have had ample opportunity to evaluate it. It holds zero with no issues. I chose the green laser, and it is very bright during the day, using a day-reflective site. I like how small it is. However, the only issue I h...

Holosun laser
Although it took longer to receive than I anticipated it should, the laser was exactly what I wanted and expected. It was very easy to install the battery with the included tool, and it was just as easy to install on the handgun. It didn’t take long to sight it in either. Very easy process from start to finish.
Pros:
- Quality
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Handgun with bottom rail

Unusual for Holosun
It would drain the battery even when it was turned off so I sent it back for a replacement. The replacement I got was difficult to turn on and then it would not turn on as if the battery was not getting a good connection. Since the first two were fails I sent it back for a refund.
Pros:
- Ruged
Cons:
- First one wouldn't work properly
- Second one wouldn't work properly

Great Laser
This laser sight is the perfect addition to my new Glock 19 build. It's small, easy to use, and light weight. I've used lasers before on a few of my pistols but they are kind of bulky, not ambi and usually had some kind of battery issue. This product is the opposite, it's compact, has ambi controls, and so far I haven't had any issues with the battery. It sounds like user error on these other reviews.
This is a great addition to any pistol based on it's functionality, ease of use, and the price.

Durable and Reliable Laser Sight
The Holosun RML Pistol laser is a very good option for those that are looking to carry concealed or keep a low-profile optic for fast target acquisition. The RML has a rugged design with a titanium housing that's both lightweight and durable. The black coating is also tough and will not scratch easily. The green 5mw laser itself is crisp, bright, and can be used for distances even beyond 100 yards. Windage and elevation adjustments are audible and tactile with 4MOA adjustments per click. The laser sight also holds zero very well with moderate to heavy recoil. The design itself, although compact and streamlined, can fit awkwardly on some pistols who's rail isn't level with the top of the trigger guard. The buttons may rub against the frame and cause a slight tilt unless you move the laser further forward on the rail. Otherwise, the lockup seems tight and holds up well without coming loose after over 250 rounds of varying ammunition. The battery compartment is a little odd as the battery has a rubber retainer that needs to be wrapped around the battery before use. They give you a spare in the box, but this is a small part that can easily be lost. They do give you several rail adapters for both Glock and typical 1913 style rails, to ensure you find the ideal fit on your rail type. Overall, it's another solid piece from a company that's known to produce high-quality and duty-capable optics.
Pros:
- durable
- rugged
- bright
- reliable
- Crisp
Cons:
- fitment
- battery compartment
Best Used for:
- EDC

Worked for only few days.
After a few days while in OFF position, it would just drain the battery completely. I went through 4 batteries in one week while not even being used. I like the finish and fit, and seemed to be well made. It may just be a dud, but I would not buy again.

VERY flawed
I was trying to get a rail mounted laser that works, having failed twice with 2 other products when I bought the Holosun RML green laser from not Optics Planet
I easily mounted it and adjusted the beam to my iron sights. But there were a few related anomaly when doing that:
#1 the detailed instructions said the battery was all ready installed, but it wasn't.
#2 when I installed it and tried to screw the cap back on, it was very difficult to
line the threads up properly and screw it on.
#3 when I finally thought I had it threaded in over the battery, it never stopped
turning, like happens when threads are stripped.
#4 So a couple days later I took it to the range and the first time I shot it, the cap
fell off and the battery came out.
#5 I spent a half hour at the range trying to screw the cap back on straight and
tight WITHOUT a battery installed and could not because even though it
looked flat with the laser body and tight, every time I let go of it, it
fell back off.
Update:I finally got the cap on securely although it is really difficult every time and then the battery ran down right away when I wasn't using it! Apparently this thing uses juice even when it is off and there are several reviews of it at other sites attesting to this flaw.
It also will not mount remotely close to the front of the trigger Gaurd of a Glock mid to full size pistol without modifying it in the mount area by nothing the mount down to the body ...
