This is the perfect red dot...er...rather green dot sight for the HK VP9. This was mounted on a long slide conversion also purchased from OP. I am used to red dot sights but the green is really easy for the eyes to pick up on. I make many purchases from OP because they have what I need or want at great prices or at least comparable to others and never have a problem with receiving my products in a timely manner.
Pros:
- Proprietary for HK VP9 so it mounts directly to slide, no need for adapter plates, green dot is easy to see, solar charges the battery, light weight, well constructed.
Cons:
- Can't think of anything really but it is on the smaller side. I bought a long slide conversion to mount this sight on and the sights are rather tall and co-witness more than 1/3 rd of the optic. I don't find it to be problematic though.
Best Used for:
- Self defense, Target shooting and competition
