Like other reviews, it came dead out of box. I tried charging it under a bright light for 3 days straight and when you pull it out from under the lights it dies within 10 seconds. Holosun SCS PDP Direct Mount Optic

Bought this optic because it is a direct mount optic that eliminates the use of mounting plates and the sight has a low base profile allowing cowitnessing of OEM sights. No optic or suppressor height sights required. As the sight sits in the slide rather than on top, it has a much lower profile and the sides of the sight have serrations and sculpting that match those on the slide! Gives the gun a custom look. I like the multi reticle choices and the automatic brightness control seems to work quite well. The only thing I have an issue with is the single button multi function control. The functions are great! The problem is the button. The switch / button itself is not tactile and it can’t be felt or activated by pushing with your finger, you have to use your finger nail to operate it. In its defense, the sight is designed to be left on 24/7 as it almost completely shuts down in total darkness and recharges and operates in ambient light during the day.
