This little micro optic blows everything else on today’s market away!
I carried a Tasco mini dot (3 Mia) sight on my duty pistol from 1998 until I retired in 2004. The pros were this unit was always on and ready to go. The cons, it was made of plastic and needed an adapter plate to mount it. I still have it and it still runs but it’s dinged up.
Fast forward to today. The Holoson subcompact HS-407K-X2 I bought has a six minute dot, making it perfect for my old eyes. The construction is robust aluminum and it has, I think, a glass lens. It fits my Sig P365xl perfectly right out of the box, no special plates needed. It blows my old Tasco mini dot and most of the other micro dots out of the water!
Still working with it but I’m pretty good sure this is a keeper!
