Most Helpful Negative Review 2nd sight failed - Cannot keep Zero - Don't waste your time or ammo on this RD

Bought as replacement for the OE Romeo0. The first HS407K purchased couldn't keep zero out of the box. With a P365XL and the OE sight I can group at about 4-5" @ 7yds w/ about a .4 string time, with this RD grouping went to about 2'. The Interference: Standard RMSc front posts are roughly 0.040 inches tall. However, popular modified-RMSc optics—specifically the Holosun K-Series (407K/507K/EPS)—feature front recesses that are only 0.029 inches deep.The Result: Attempting to mount a K-series optic directly onto standard RMSc hubs leaves an 0.011-inch gap of interference. The optic will ride high and fail to sit flush unless the front pins on the plate are shaved down or an ultra-thin spacer plate is used.
I wasn’t aware of this and couldn’t sight the optic in. Then noticed it wasn’t sitting flush. I had to file down the nubs on the slide plate. Note also, the windage and elevation adjustments increments aren’t crisp, and adjusting to a specific number of moa is not easy. But I’m happy w the 6 moa dot for a pistol. It’s a small window and finding the dot in a rush would be really challenging if it were the smaller.

smaler size is perfect for CC or a pistol w a narrow width. rmr width hung out past the slide on my Arex.

I purchased this red dot to go on a P365XL that my daughter carries. Set up was a breeze, and it zeroed easily at 35" with a whole mag in a space you could cover with a snuff can. Since I've only had it a little over a week and I'm not even the primary user, I do like what I've seen so far. If I think about it, I'll check back in a month after she's shot it some and it's ridden around in her truck. If it's still hitting zero, then it's probably a good purchase.

Very happy with the red dot. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I think the shake awake function isn't working on mine. Not a huge deal it gets great battery life I'll just change as needed. Fantastic price from optics planet. Paid $187 after tax and free shipping.
