Great red dot sight
Solid build, holds zero, nice small dot, AMAZING battery life, and light weight. One of my favorite things about this sight is the sleek design. You don't have controls or battery compartments etc. getting in the way of your sight picture.

Battery Installation
THE BATTERY INSTALLATION WAS VERY CUMBERSOME. ONE SCREW WOULD JOT MATCH UP WITH A HOLE AND A LOT OF PRESSURE HAD TO BE APPLIED, CAREFULLY. Great Optic
I have used this Holosun Optic on 2 different AR’s now and it has been great. It’s currently on my 300 blackout pistol with a 3x magnifier and it’s never let me down. It has a nice crisp dot, and the battery life is great.

Holosun HS406A red dot.
Was very excited to try this. Have always bought and used Eotech and Trijicon. Waited close to a month for this to come in. Arrived today and is does not work. Unable to try out. Will be returning. Very disappointed.

Holosun hs406a
Installed very easy. Used bore sighter and was only around 3 inches high at 50 yards completely sighted in in 6 shots works awesome. I normally use a suppressor and have a binary trigger on this ar so we'll see how it holds up.

May get one for myself
I bought this to put on a customers AR-15. For what the customer wanted to spend this appeared to fit the bill. After reading lots of reviews and talking to Holosun on the telephone, I ordered this one. When it arrived I was impressed. I've been looking at the Aim Point PRO for one of my AR-15's but this site is VERY nice and is half the price. I really like the shake awake feature. The site mounted and sighted it great. I can recommend this

Holosun HS406A Red Dot Sight
There are things I like and dislike about this red dot sight. I like the tethered caps for windage and elevation adjustment. I like the motion sensing auto-on feature so it is ready when I pick up the rifle. I like the battery is housed in an easy access tray. I like the fine 2-MOA dot. I like it is very lightweight. I dislike the mounting screws for the battery tray, they were too thin and one of them couldn't be secured because the screw hole was already stripped. Not that big of a deal I just put a little blue loctite to hold the screw in place. I don't like the flip up scope covers, I never like any flip up scope covers on any of my scopes. Over all the Holosun HS406A is a fantastic scope, easy to use, easy to adjust, and hopefully, I don't have to use their lifetime warranty.

Best for the money
Very comparable to aimpoint products for half the money. Crisp dot, clear lenses, multiple settings, battery easy to access. I have 2more models on the way. I wish the tube was 30mm but other than that I have no complaints at all. I Would delicately purchase again.

Holosun hs406a
I received my Holosun on the day it said i would and my first impression was that it was well packaged by opticsplanet so it wouldn't get damaged in shipping so high five there. Now i opened the Holosun case and found what seems to be a very well built red dot for the price hands down. I mounted it to my rifle and it was already co witnessed with my sights it looks like haven't got to shoot with it yet going tomorrow so we shall see how it holds up and will update with results

Holosun Red Dot
I’ve had a few red dot sights, and this one is by far the best one. It has a sleek look and adjustable modes, plus a great battery life. If your looking for a good red dot sight without breaking the bank. I would recommend this one, it’s easy to use and is built to last.

12 rounds and 3 adjustments
I added this to my Spikes Tactical AR and using with an American Defense 68H, easiest optic I have zeroed in! I really, really like this optic and in the process of getting a second for my PSA AR. Had a hiccup with a different model from Holosun, and their customer service was simply the best I have even dealt with! Have not had any problems recommending this model to my buddies.
