my father in law bought it for my birthday
i had this box for a while it does keep the kids safe but as far as a thief not so good the locks just punched right out and now my guns are gone forever they took a hammer and hit right on the locks and drove the heavy lock latches off manufacture needs to place a little more work in this area of design if locks were better i would buy another one

Adequate to prevent snatch and run
My wife bought me this for Christmas. It isn't the thickest or heaviest by any means but is adequate to prevent someone from prying it open in a few seconds. I bored more anchor holes in the back since it only came with four. The foam you are supposed to stick to the back and floor are a bad joke. Throw those away before you even start to avoid the frustration. It will hold six long guns and has a couple of boxes that hang on the door as well as a small shelf in the top. These worked well for storing my ammo. All in all, I would probably buy it again.
