Most Helpful Negative Review The absolute worst spreader ive ever purchased.
Do NOT buy this spreader. It’s a crime that they are selling this for over $200. This spreader is not built nor operates well. The design is flawed and all seed types will jam in the wheel due to insufficient space needed for seed flow. Lowest setting jams with winter rye grain. Hooyman will not stand behind their product. If I was allowed I would rate this 0/5 stars.

Used spreader 3 times, 4th time wouldn't operate makes a noise thats it.
Pros:
  • Works good when it worked.
Cons:
  • Lasted 3 times, bought new in February.
  • Didn't last 6 months, with minimum use. A total of 3 times.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the spreader. I wish they actually made a larger 50lb version. I would purchase that with less refilling trips. Very high quality product. I have already used it on 30+ acres with no problems.

Hooyman 24V Chest spreader

This thing is great. I was able to broadcast over 4 acres of clover and still had plenty of battery power. This makes planting my food plots so much easier. Well worth the money.
